According to the ancient feng shui concept, the direction of a stove could affect the safety of the residents, especial the lady of a house. Different with modern stoves we use nowadays, there's a loading door of ancient stoves. However, since the flame/heat of the modern stove goes upward , there's no need to site at certain area but should be cautious about the location you place it.

1. Should not face the front door or the bathroom's door.
2. If there's a loading door in the stove, it should not face the direction of the ninth or fifth  of Shuan Kong Ai Shing.
3. The loading door should face the direction of the third, fourth, seventh, sixth, eighth, second or first  of Shuan Kong Ai Shing. 
4. If the loading door faces a refrigerator, the conflict of cold and hot will affect the respiratory system. 
5. The loading door should not point at the bedroom's door. The sleeper will easily catch a cold. 
6. Both the sitting direction of the stove and the house should be the same. Otherwise, It may create argument, disagreement and rumors.
7. It's absurd to place a stove at the direction of east or north.
8. If the two loading doors of the new and the old stoves face each other, the mother and daughter-in-law will not get along well. 
9. Do not follow the system of East West Si Ming for the placement of a stove. The chi is moving and circulating around you and surroundings.
10. The loading door should not face the outflow water pipe of the kitchen.
