On July 15th, 2001, Hsien Fo Temple started its
first Yi Ching class
in Southern Taiwan. People were so enthusiastic to learn this arcane
knowledge that the enrollment of was nearly 230 students.

Introduction |
|
Under the ingenious designed by Master Hun Yuan, the site, located at 284
1st Chung Cheng Road, Kaohsiung, was built and completed in 2002. It
enshrines and worships Wang Chan Lao Tzu and the Western Three Bodhisattvas.
The serene and solemn hall provides the followers a place to worship and
cultivate in Southern Taiwan. In addition, many
Yi Ching reading materials and books are available for purchasing.

The Abbess |
|
Master Yuan Ho is the abbess of Kaohsiung Site, along with two personnel
work with her at the site. Her main task is to sort out all the manuscripts
of Ven. Master Hun Yuan and put them into a book and to record the practicing
events and his teachings. She was assigned to teach in Tsaotun, Puli andNantou city in 2000. Later, she was reassigned to lecture in Kaohsiung and Pingdong in May 2001 and at the same year, was appointed as the vice director
of Kaohsiung sub-Chapter. Up to date, she is also the chief editor of Yi Yao
Publication of Hsien Fo Temple.
