Each spot has been elaborately designed by Master

the calm and tranquil moment.

The well-placed line and curve of stairway, with tall and luxuriant pine trees on both sides, gently leads you to the main gate of Hsien Fo Temple from the parking lot. At the top of the stairs, there are the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statues standing around the lotus pond to greet you and welcome you. The waterfall in the pond slowly move the water toward the direction of main entrance, along with some fish and the reflected blue sky in the pond, symbolizes the devoutness of Buddhists from all the places.

Once entering the big main gate, the Da Hsiung Bo Dian is right in front of you. In there, the followers worship the Amitabha Buddha, Wang Chan Lao Tzu and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. You may meditate in the Bo Dian and see if you can have the spiritual connection with the Buddhas.

There is a Dragon Fountain located at the dragon direction from Da Hsiung Bo Dian. The Fountain has the blessings from all the Buddhas in Hsien Fo Temple.
At some distance away, the Chiu Chiu Feng can be viewed from Chi Le Dian. Overall, the remarkable location of Hsien Fo Temple can be seen in the eyes of Master Guo Hsuan Liu in Ming Dynasty as what he described in his poem on the scenery of Chiu Chiu Hua Shan, which is sited in China.

Just to follow the stairs down, on right side of Chi Le Dian, there's a dragon point named Kong Chue Kai Ping. Especially when the orchids start blossoming there, it just looks like a peacock displaying its tail.

The Building of Yi Ching Da Hsue is right next to Chi Le Dian. The office is at the first floor. The Chian Fo Da Chan Tang is at first ground floor, in where the cultivation and ceremony are taken place. There is also a vegetarian cafeteria at the second ground floor.

Keep on going down south, there is the Chan Ching coffee shop on the left side of path offering you a place to drink and relax.  On the right, it was originally the place of Taiwan Chu Shi memorial pavilion, which was damaged by the earthquake on Sept. 21, 1999, and now you only can see the lotus seat and the stone on it.  If you are lucky, you may see some little tortoises resting on the rock.

A lodge is sited across from the pavilion and right in front of it, there's a dragon point called Bai He Hsi Shui. Although it's not very obvious to observe, it's an outstanding spot.

Following the path down, you will find the Amitabha Lecture Hall where the classes are held. Across from the Hall, there's a tall tower with colorful ribbons, symbolizes the strength and spirit of Hsien Fo Temple blessing for world peace.

When you come to the Wei Hsin Yuan, you will be impressed by the big grass field filled with abundant flowers and plants blossom right in front of you. This art of work is designed by the students from the first class of Yi Ching. In addition, there is a Hu Lu Pond on the right with the Chang Sheng bridge in the middle and willow trees on the side.

Take more steps, here is Tsang Ching Ge. Its slightly sharp corners of the roof follow the contour of mountain at the back. Besides the Tsang Ching Ge, there is a large Buddha with 500 Arhats sitting around it. Each Arhat has his own particular look. You may touch each Arhat's head to see if you can sense the joy.

You can spot some little fish and shrimp in the Chian Hsing Stream which would bring your memory back to the old country time.

When you come to Tian Tan, you may go inside to worship the buddhas. However, sometimes, the doors are closed and it's ok to pay your respect outside. Since you are so close to the coffee shop, perhaps you want to take a moment to read some books and have a sip of coffee in there.

Follow the path back to Da Hsiung Bo Dian, you'll pass by the Ching Tu administration office. If you are thirsty, welcome to get some of the chill water from the Dragon Fountain. You will be blessed at the same time when you drink it.
