In 1994, Master Yuan Tong discovered a good spot in
Chu Dong. In order to secure and protect this area,
he earnestly requested Master Hun Yuan to purchase
the land and build a Chan Chi Shan site in the Northern
part of Taiwan. The temple was named as Da Fan Temple
by Master Hun later.

Da Fan Temple is located in
Shui-keng Village, a countryside
in Cyong lin Shiang, Hsinchu County. This beautiful site, |
|
approximate 10,000 square feet, was originally a fruit farm.
However, from the point of view of Feng Shui, it is a treasure site shaped like a floating lotus flower. The garden
has been designed according to the methods of
Yi Ching Gardening,
with a variety of well placed and luxuriant trees and flowers.
There are four shrines built here and they are Lao Tzu Dian,
Medicine Buddha Hall, Medicine Buddha Stupa and Nian Fo Tang. |
