Origin

Wei Hsin Sect Master Hun Yuan of Chan Chi Shan has been devoting himself with great compassion in propagating the fundamental principles of Yi Ching and Feng Shui.   In 1997, under the spiritual guidance of Wang Chan Lao Tzu, Master Hun Yuan found an appropriate location in Shu Lin City , Taipei County and started the construction of the Northern Site. Through the generous donations and support from the followers and disciples, Da An Temple was completed and operated on June 19, 1999, the Birthday of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva..

Da An Temple is sited in Shu Lin City, Taipei County and is about 3,100 square feet wide. In Wang Chan Lao Tzu Shrine, the Da LuoTian Chie Guigu Hsian Shi Wang Chan Lao Tzu, Three Western Bodhisattvas, the Bagua Tzu Shi and the past feng shui Tzu Shi are worshiped. On both side of the entrance, a pair of door guardians are placed with words of wisdom and compassion of Guigu Hsian Shi. It says, 「The wicked  never achieve the enlightenment ; the kind are always blessed by Buddha. In addition to the Shrine, a library, an administration office, Yang Hsian Tang, etc, also provide diverse services to the followers .    

                    

  The Abbot

Master Yuan Dao is the Abbot and a disciple of Wei Hsin Sect Master Hun Yuan. He is also the senior secretary of
China Humanity Pure Land Merits Foundation and is appointed to supervise the building of Ba Gua Cheng in 
Yun Meng Shan, China.
Several major activities, such as Blessing Ceremony in Linkou Shiang in 1995, Zen Book Fair in Yat Sen Memorial 
Hall in 2000, World Peace Blessing Ceremony on New Year of 2003 were planned and organized by Master Yuan Dao. . 

      
Major Activities
1. The second and fifth advanced classes are lectured in “Da An Lecture Hall”.
2. Yi Ching Youth Summer Camp for Junior College and University students are held annually.

3. The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Birthday and Blessing Ceremony are held regularly. Some other ceremonies are held          occasionally during the year.
